In the dragonfly room we have a staff to child ratio of 1:8 which must be adhered to at all times. There are 2 main areas of play – A large activity room and a library where planned learning experiences relating to the Curriculum for Excellence are carried out. This age group are working towards getting ready for school. They do this by being provided with structured activities. Children in the dragonfly room are also given the opportunity to participate in Spanish and Music lessons and Mini Morton football classes.

In the Sunshine Room we have a staff to child ratio of 1:3, which must be adhered to at all times. The room is bright and spacious with a wide variety of toys and equipment to provide stimulation and fun.

In the butterfly room we have a staff to child ratio of 1:5 which must be adhered to at all times. This age group are encouraged to gain more independence and develop new skills. They are encouraged to sit a little longer, listen and carry out basic instructions. There are a wide variety of activities for the age group to experience.
